Microsoft recently announced the official Windows 11. One of the amazing features of Windows 11 that has caught the attention of many is the icons in the central taskbar. As always, some will enjoy this new design change while others will take a while to adjust. This guide is intended for those who like the new centered icons on the taskbar. Here we show you how to center the icons on the Windows 10 taskbar just like in Windows 11.
Icon Center on the Windows 10 taskbar
1. Right-click on the taskbar. In the list of options that appears, deselect “Lock the taskbar”.
2. Right-click the taskbar again. This time you have to go to “Toolbars” and select “Links”.
3. Right-click on the taskbar a third time and make sure both “Show Text” and “Show Title” are checked.
4. You will see “Links” on the right side of the taskbar with two vertical lines in front.
5. Click and drag the two vertical lines “Links” to the left side of the taskbar. This way, all pinned icons on the systray will scroll to the right.
6. Right-click on the taskbar and uncheck “Show Text” and “Show Title”.
7. You will notice that the text “Links” will disappear from the taskbar.
8. Drag two vertical lines in front of the pinned icons and drop them in the center of the taskbar. After placing them in the center, right-click the taskbar, then click “Lock the taskbar”.
