Share screenshots using Gboard on Android
Gboardis one of the best feature-rich keyboard apps for Android devices. It has all the customization options and provides a smooth user experience.
In particular, if you also use Gboard on your Android device, you’re in luck because there’s a hidden option in Gboard that allows you to share screenshots by copying and pasting them.
Apparently, you can save screenshots to the Gboard clipboard on your phone. It makes it easier for the user to access the copied screenshot from the clipboard and later share it with others. Here are the steps you need to follow to use Gboard to easily copy and paste your screenshots and share them with others on Android.
1. Install the latest beta version (10.5.04.367007960 or later) of the Gboard app from the Google Play Store. Make sure you are enrolled in the beta program. Alternatively, you can download the latest beta from Reflect APK .
2. Open the Gboard app on your Android device in any of your favorite apps such as WhatsApp.
3. Tap the “Clipboard” icon at the top of Gboard’s keyboard menu. If the menu bar does not show the “Clipboard” icon, you must tap the three-dot icon and select “Clipboard”.
4. Gboard will display a message letting you copy text and images and save them for an hour. Just press the “Activate clipboard” button.
5. Make sure you’ve granted Gboard access to your device’s memory. This allows Gboard to display photos in the clipboard.
6. When you take a screenshot, it will appear in the “Clipboard” menu. You can just paste a screenshot from the clipboard and share it with your messaging app.
7. That’s it! You’ve now shared your Android screenshots effortlessly.
