Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name Burna Boy, is a sensation in the world of Afrobeats. He recently remarked about the prestige linked to the music career of the American artist Beyonce.
Burna was recently asked to offer his thoughts on the arguments surrounding Beyonce’s legendary status in a video that is doing the rounds during an interview he did with Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club. The video in question features a conversation between the three of them.
In response, the singer stated that while he is unsure as to whether or not she is the most famous person in the entire world, he is certain that she is famous in her own right.
In the video clip, Charlamagne claims that a member of his staff believes that Beyonce is receiving unwarranted praise and that Drake is a significantly more talented musician than she is.
The Odogwu crooner was asked by the interviewer if he shares the same opinion, but Burna answered by inquiring what the person’s thoughts on Drake and whether or not he considers him to be overhyped.
Burna Boy was featured on Beyonce’s Ja Ara E, which was part of the album that Beyonce created for the 2019 Lion King movie.
