Woli Arole, a Nigerian comedian, couldn’t keep his excitement in check as he met with Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church, often known as Winners, just hours after meeting with him.
On his Instagram feed, the ecstatic actor said that he had met one of his mentors in person for the first time.
In the touching video, which is quickly warming the hearts of many, the comedian, who also happens to be a preacher, prostrated himself as he paid his respects to the revered religious leader.
Tope Alabi, a gospel singer, was credited with making the encounter possible, according to Woli Arole.
He expressed gratitude to Tope Alabi for the connection and praised her as “God’s gift” to him.
“Meeting PAPA “Bishop David Oyedepo,” Woli Arole wrote . Having @davidoyedepomin as a friend means the world to me. I couldn’t keep my JOY hidden. This could only have happened through GRACE. Sir, your teachings and ministry have been a big influence on my life and ministry. Thank you for what you have done. I am really appreciative for everything God has done through you for PAPA. I’m madly in love with you. God is God’s General down to his very core. @tope alabi_ How can I express my gratitude to you, ma? You are a GIFT from God to me. Thank you, Ma, for allowing me to use your facilities.”
Woli Arole had lavished praise on gospel singer Tope Alabi’s spouse, Soji Alabi, in a previous interview.
On April 10, Soji Alabi turned a year older, and the comedian took to his Instagram page to wish him a happy birthday with kind comments.
Woli Arole hailed Soji as a “God-given gift” since his guidance, access, humility, and way of life have all been extremely beneficial to the comic.
“Agbaaaaa PAPA,” Woli wrote in his journal. ‘Big Uncle,’ he says. Daddy is the best. Mr. Soji Alabi is a Nigerian businessman. His birthday is today, so wish him a happy birthday. What can I say about you, sir? You’re a gift from God to me. Thank you for your advice, for providing access, for your humility, and for your way of life. Thank you for being such a benefit to not just me but also my family, career, and ministry. I adore you, and you are well aware of my feelings for you. Thank you for your birthday wishes, @officialpopesojialabi. Thank you, @tope alabi_, for being the CROWN that protects Aunty Tee’s head. Sir, may God continue to bless you. I’m madly in love with you. Please lend a hand in celebrating my “MAN OF THE YEAR!!!” nomination.
