1805 entertainment, the management company for Nigerian singer Asake, has provided an official response to the incident that occurred during the singer’s performance at the Baltimore stop of his “Mr. Money With The Vibe” US tour. The singer felt the need to leave the stage in the middle of his set for medical reasons.
Recall, Asake’s performance on the evening of Sunday, October 10, 2022, was brought to a close when he was seen being hurriedly removed from the stage in a clip that was uploaded on social media. This brought the night’s events to a close.
In response, 1805 entertainment issued an apology to the audience for the abrupt and unanticipated action that took place on stage. The company explained that the action was required due to occurrences that were beyond their control, and they based their explanation on the numerous videos that surfaced to that effect.
The management submitted a letter;
“1805 Entertainment and Asake would like to apologive to everyone that came out to last night’s show at [Baltimore]. We deeply regret that things didn’t go as planned and we are truly sorry for all confusion and inconvenience.
We had the greatest of intentions to bring you an amazing show, but there were factors tonight that simply fell beyond our control. The safety and security of everyone in attendance was our number one concern.
Both 1805 and Asake share nothing but love and respect for all of his supporters. We wil do everything we can to make it right, and we hope to have the opportunity to share another experience with you soon.”
Many people were under the impression that the artist was forced to leave the stage because one of the members of his security detail had apparently had his gun stolen at the event venue.
It is not clear, however, whether a refund would be issued or whether another date and location would be chosen for the musician to play in Baltimore again at some point in the future.
