The performance of the popular song “Stand Strong” by Pastor Adegboyega’s choir at the latter’s church in the UK has been met with widespread ridicule on social media platforms, particularly among users in Nigeria.
Founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, also known as SPAC Nation, led the choir in singing the hit song during a tribute held in honor of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of Davido, at the church service. The tribute was held during the church service.
A video of the choir performing during the service that was shared to social media captured the attention of many individuals, all of whom provided their responses.
After hearing this, one of the Chidinmas responded by asking, “Is this a church or a club?”
One of the Mercys wrote, “Despite the fact that I am a fan of my baby David. This conduct is unbecoming in a place of worship. A full place of worship? Braaaah.”
