Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo has been laid to rest in Lagos.
On Thursday, December 15, following a funeral at the church, the 51-year-old was laid to rest at a private cemetery in Ikoyi.
Paul Adefarasin, senior pastor of House on the Rock, and Dr. Flourish Peters, lead pastor of The L.O.G.I.C (Love of God in Christ) Church, officiated the wedding.
Sammie Okposo’s coworkers and friends attended her burial, including the Nollywood actor Segun Arinze and the gospel singer Nikki Laoye, who was unable to hold back her tears as she saw Sammie being lowered into the grave.

On Tuesday, December 13, a night of tributes was held for the late gospel singer Sammie Okposo. Nigerian entertainers like as Segun Arinze, Ali Baba, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Charles Inojie were among those in attendance at the event.
It was a really moving experience for everyone who attended the event, which was hosted at the La Madison Place in Oniru in Lagos.
Gospel singers Tope Alabi, Mike Abdul, and Efe Nathan also gave moving performances during the occasion, which was attended by a large crowd.
Mike led the choir in a hymn of praise and thanksgiving as Tope sung a song of farewell and worship.
