To use the Your Phone app to make or receive phone calls on your Windows 10 PC, you must meet the following prerequisites.
- Windows 10 laptop
- An Android phone with Android 7 or later
- Your phone app is installed on Android and Windows 10 devices
Pair your computer with your Android phone
The first thing you need to do to answer Android phone calls on Windows 10 is to establish a connection between them. This is how:
1. Download the Your Phone app from theGoogle Play Store pageon your Android device.
2. Open the application on your Android phone. Sign in to the Your Phone app with your Microsoft account.
3. It will ask you for the necessary permissions, such as access to contacts, phone calls, multimedia and text messages. Let it run in the background as well.
4. It will ask you to complete the pairing on the computer. Open the Your Phone app on your Windows 10 laptop (install it from theMicrosoft Store, if you haven’t already).
5. When you open the Your Phone app on your Windows 10 laptop, it will automatically send a notification to your phone asking for “Allow Connection”. (This notification will appear if your Android device and Windows 10 PC are linked to the same Microsoft account.)
6. On your Windows 10 computer, select the type of device you are connecting to.

To make or receive phone calls from an Android phone to a Windows 10 laptop or desktop, you need to connect the phone via Bluetooth.

1. In the Your Phone companion application on your computer, click the Connections button on the left pane. Click the “Start” button on the right.
2. You will get a pairing notification on your Android smartphone. Allow notification and make sure to check the “Allow access to your contacts and call history” box.
3. On your computer, click Yes when prompted to pair with your Android phone.
4. That’s it! Now you can answer Android phone calls on your Windows 10 PC or laptop.
