In a statement, Lince Edochie, the brother of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, stated that he was not involved in his brother’s new marriage.
As a result of Yul Edochie’s second marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin, and the birth of his fifth kid, many people have descended on the Facebook accounts of his family members in an attempt to bring them into the spotlight.
Even Lince Edochie wasn’t left out in the cold when a commenter on his Facebook page inquired as to whether he had traveled with his brother to pay Judy’s wedding price.
“You see what your brother gets up to,” the troll added. You follow them, you go lay bride price on Sunday, you don’t follow them, you don’t follow them, answer me now.”
In response to her question, Lince made it clear that he was unaware of Yul’s motivation and that he did not support his second marriage in any way.
“Please don’t make me feel bad about not being there.”
Amidst the uproar surrounding his son Yul Edochie’s recent announcement of the birth of a new son, delivered by his colleague and actress Judy Austin (who previously had two children from a previous marriage), Pete Edochie spoke out.
Apparently, Pete Edochie was dissatisfied that his son, Yul, had a kid with someone else after having four children with his lawful wife of more than 16 years, May.
“I want the entire world and Nigerians to understand that as an Igbo man, I never support my son’s actions, and as a statesman, I only recognize his first wife, May, as the only authenticated wife of my son, and the rest is barred from entering my household,” the veteran Pete Edochie declared, adding that marrying two wives does not confer a manly status on anyone. “I want the entire world and Nigerians to understand that as an Igbo man,
Similarly, Pete Edochie expressed his displeasure, adding, “Right from when Yul was a child, he never listened to him.”
I’m not surprised that he has a son without telling me about it. “A child who does not listen to his father will end up shortening his or her life span.”
