  2. brown tissue, which is made of smaller cells than white tissue. Thanks to it, it is possible to convert fat into energy – that is, burning white adipose tissue. Brown adipose tissue, appropriately stimulated to activity, helps to maintain a proper body weight. Too little of it can lead to diabetes and obesity, as the body cannot keep up with the conversion of fat into energy. Unfortunately, the amount of brown tissue decreases with age, although it can be prevented by living a healthy lifestyle. In addition, it is this part that has thermal insulation functions.

In adults, the norm of adipose tissue is below 20% of body weight for men and 30% for women. Above these values ​​we speak of obesity – here it is recommended to reduce the fat content.
